Ophelia needed swimming lessons...

Oh Ophelia, how tragic of such occurrence. You may have been compared to addicts yet I believe you were perfectly sane, but blinded depressed. Oh I remember when you would walk around with a great love for flowers, all cheerful and full of hope. It was that psycho Hamlet of yours that led you to this depression. Word on the castle is that Hamlet actually loved you though.

Alas, love is not easy to confess. Had he confessed earlier you would have lived happily ever after. Your tragedy revolves around love, oh love, the most powerful of inanimate objects. When you don't have anyone to receive love in return it can be one of the most awful things. It is like a letter you send to a long distant friend, but never receive a reply. Poor Ophelia unfortunately how you happened to fall in love with a man who speaks of nothing but gibberish to himself in catacombs.

That demon Hamlet deserved what you hath suffured. But as I weep on this very ground in which you rest on for eternity, I remind myself that this is what fate chose to relinquish; the life of an innocent woman.

  1. I love your eulogy. I really feel like Ophelia would've loved it 110%. The language was both modern and old. I especially liked when you said "It is like a letter you send to a long distant friend, but never receive a reply" because it's so true. Lastly it was funny when you called Hamlet a demon lol, he was pretty evil. Good job.
